Mentoring
At ELC Roundtable we foster a mentoring environment. Our peer-to-peer mentoring is purely voluntary, but popular among the membership. We are seeking experienced entrepreneurs, leaders and CEOs to become mentors for the less experienced members of our group.
There are many advantages of mentoring for both the mentor and the person seeking mentoring. Mentoring can help people adapt to desired change quicker. The relationship between the two individuals will give the person being mentored a sense of being connected to the larger community of more successful people. Mentors are usually more experienced business owners, so they can share useful knowledge and experience that is otherwise difficult to obtain. Mentors are chosen because they are more successful and because they possess good communication, social and leadership skills. As a consequence, mentors serve as positive role models for those seeking help, guiding them towards business and personal success. Mentors provide support, advice, encouragement, and even friendship to our members. Peer mentoring may improve business success rates.
Mentors also stand to benefit from the mentor/mentoree relationship. Mentoring gives mentors a chance to sharpen their social, communication and leaderships skills. Mentors develop friendships through their participation in mentoring programs. Mentors also benefit from the satisfaction of helping a less experienced business owner succeed. Mentors know they helped shape the future and success of the person being mentored in a positive way.
We ask that our mentors not charge for the mentoring. If you would like to meet here for your mentoring, our space is availableĀ free of charge. We hope you will click on the button below to begin to create you life of significance. Whether you are seeking mentoring or would like to be a mentor, ELC Roundtable provides the vehicle.
