A Non-Traditional Meeting

ELC Roundtable supports an open forum when we have our meetings.  We encourage as many members as possible to talk about the experience and knowledge of their businesses and lives.  Members Helping Members be Successful  in Business and Life is not just a mission.  We live this everyday and it starts with our meetings.

When do we meet: We meet from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.  Because of our mission, our meetings will be held every week regardless of holidays or other important local or national events.  Our meetings will start promptly on time and end promptly on time – we realize our members are busy people.  Time permitting each member is given the opportunity to provide their input, though we only speak once.
Members Chair and Lead our meetings: Each month a member is chosen to “chair” the meeting. The chair will determine the topic for the meeting each week. Each chair has the autonomy of providing speakers, subject matter experts, information, books, or other materials that will support the topic. We will do our best to distribute the materials to the members of that group through posting the information on our forum section. The chair and / or speaker, will have 10 minutes to discuss the topic, then the meeting opens for additional member input.
Exclusivity Within Each Market Assures Quality: The goal in Oklahoma City is to have 200 Entrepreneurs, Leaders and CEOs attend our meetings. At maturity we will have four groups meeting at the times discussed above. There will be 50 members per group. Once we reach 200 members we will close the membership and a waiting list will be started. As members leave the group we will allow other prospective members to apply and be considered. We have over 80 members currently. We expect membership to close by 2010.
Mentoring, Small Group and Master Mind Development: ELC Roundtable was founded on the premise that Entrepreneurs, Leaders and CEOs lack a natural peer network. In an effort to build this among our business community, ELC Roundtable is fostering a mentoring spirit at our meetings and throughout our organization. Attend a meeting and you will find the room remains busy with leaders mentoring other leaders after the meeting has adjourned. We call this the “meeting after the meeting.” In addition, we offer small group development classes and Master Mind groups that will allow you to effectively acquire new skills and build relationships with future mentors.
